As educators ourselves, we know trust is earned. HeyBohdi was built by teachers, for teachers, with one non-negotiable principle: Your conversations with HeyBohdi are yours alone.

  • Your conversations are private. Your principal, district administrators, and colleagues cannot see what you discuss with HeyBohdi.

  • We only share anonymous, aggregated data. Schools see overall trends, never individual details.

  • You can delete your data anytime. You're in control of your information.

  • We use your information only to help you. The more HeyBohdi understands about your teaching context, the better support it can provide.

What Information We Collect and Why

Why we need this: Just like a human mentor, HeyBohdi provides better support when it understands your unique context. A first-year kindergarten teacher needs different guidance than a veteran high school math teacher.

What Your School/District Can See:

  • General topic categories (e.g., "classroom management" is a common concern)

  • Overall engagement rates (e.g., "75% of teachers use HeyBohdi weekly")

  • Anonymous success metrics (e.g., "average stress levels improved by 15%")

 

What Your School/District CANNOT See:

  • Your individual conversations

  • Your personal wellbeing scores

  • Specific challenges you've discussed

  • Any identifying information about your interactions

  • When or how often you use HeyBohdi

 

Your Rights and Controls

  • You have the right to: Access all information we have about you

  • Correct any inaccurate information

  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time

 

Our Security Commitment

  • All conversations are encrypted during transmission and storage

  • We use industry-standard security measures

  • We never sell or share your personal information

  • Only essential HeyBohdi team members have access to anonymized data for improving the service

The Technical Details

  • Active account data: Maintained while you use HeyBohdi

  • Deleted account data: Removed within 30 days
